Blogger allows adsense. Wordpress.com does not allow adsense.

So with WordPress, you'll have to use an alternative advertisement service?

I dont play with wordpress.com much, but it seems their TOS is okay with some affiliate links as long as you are posting good content with it. All adsense and similar ads are forbidden in their Tos. But they say they have a text ad program for top tier bloggers.
Again, this was just a quick google & read to fact check my first reply.
