I'm not talking about tying into a service, but actually deploying some internal methodologies to ocr and figure out captchas by themselves.
Also, it's undestood that all do varying degrees of success with decaptchering different captchas, but Let me know if I'm missing anything...

I wish these tools could build a client end API (which I think is entirely possible but has not been made yet) for captcha solving so that we could run the software with this API on our VPS and other tools could send in the captcha to that software for solving. In other words other software could communicate with the one having OCR.

Why do some parents leave their study room door unlocked during the daytime hours when the wee ones get access to the computer??

This "noob" probably makes more money with my 300+ domains than you will ever see. I'm more of the mind of having my software work intelligently for me while realizing a cost savings of upfront cost versus long term usage over a given period of time. ROI can definitely be computed if I know of a percentage rate that my captcha solving will be going offshore versus taken up by cpu/server cycles in my own data warehouse.

When you're automating on a LARGE scale, your costs rise exponentially.

Well, there is an OCR available these days

captchas ocr . com

but their sales is closed as of right now, the best thing about it is that you will get a VPS with OCR pre-installed and it will be able to serve all of your apps which needs captcha support. If you are a real Internet Marketer and spending for captchas on daily basis then its going to be the best solution.
