I need a list of good wordpress websites - not looking for the top websites average to medium websites that blog about many different categories

Well you could just go to the WordPress site and cruise through all those blogs lol They all run WordPress.

Use some popular footprints which you can find them here and search manual on Google or use that crazy scrapebox tool
