these are my two doubt regarding a vps
what all Im software can run on a linux vps ,
if suppose I am running a mailing software or any other software like scapebox do i need proxy or just vps is sufficient

Thanks

You can't run Windows software (Scrapebox) on a VPS. Most of the SEO software you will find is for Windows, actually I don't know of any that runs natively on linux.

The thing is, and please don't take this the wrong way but if you can't afford a Windows VPS you don't really need it. You can run anything you need to run on your PC until you make enough money OR have the need to have something running 24/7.

That's what a VPS is for, to run things 24/7 on a fast connection. Anything that you can do on a VPS you can do on your PC.

You need a Windows VPS to run all those SEO softwares which you want as they won't work on linux.

guys thanks for the reply . once i invested in vps do i need a separate proxy or vps is sufficient to run scrapebox

Using proxy will be better. be careful about scrapebox. It may harm as you may already know

You will need proxies, otherwise your VPS ip will get banned. Also when posting, you don't want blog owners knowing your real ip.

And you will need Windows. Use linux for your web site.

Good IM guys go for 2 vps .. Pretty cheap. Sacrifice 3 meals in a month and there you are with two VPS.
Once linux and the other one as windows. Use the windows one to scrape whilst the linux one for stuff like emailing
