As for the link wheel method, it still works, you just have to modify it for fresh and REAL content, as the new ' duplicate content ' issues are targeting software generated content systems now more than ever.

It keeps coming back to one simple point. Google is not about just links anymore to rank.
It is all about the combination of keywords, keyword relevant content and keyword relevant links that pull the authority and rank juice. Google is all about ' information ', as that is their business.

IF you post a website and have all of the hottest new articles from the directories, targeted for your niche, post that information on your site and show link credit for the author, website and credit them with the original...as you are showing it to your readership in your market for CONTENT awareness, you are going to become an authority for promoting those articles as original posts in your own site archive.


The trick is the give the link and original site, as well as the author but to also ' give your opinions, comments, additions, etc. ' about the article in your voicing an agreement and disagreement with it.

It sounds tricky with giving out free backlinks in this manner to your competition but it will make you an authority over them instead of competitors against them.

Link wheels don't work in blackhat tactics as well due to them relating/cross-referencing your sites and pages together with the robot-generated content. That is what is busting your chops in this case.

if you are reading this, please make things a bit easy for us. For the past couple of months, i though that spun content is what you guys frowned upon. Today morning when i checked a lot of websites in siteexplorer, i found that some f|_|k1ng h03s have their sites above mine. Have they been sl33ping with your engineers, or have those H03s been playing with your c|_|mputers? If that's what yall like, then tell me. Send me a msg on bhw and i'll send some to you. I am a poor entrepreneur at the moment and don't really make much, but yeah i can afford $10(that's what you'd pay in india). Just tell me if like my shit curled or as straight logs. I don't know if i should make jalebis or sausages. Please help me Matt Cutts. One last thing; just keep the rule the same for all of us.
