Linkwheels and new sites question

I have a new site that is only a few weeks old. If I pay for a link wheel service for that site will it help greatly in google or could it knock me down since my site is so new ?

I'm already on the second and third page for my keywords.

Just dont do a huge link wheel.

A basic one would be enough.

^ As above. If it's a new site, start with a basic link wheel and use unique content. Also, don't close the wheel.

Ok, so when to close the wheel? How old must be the whell sites to close them?
I have 11 pages link whell - not closed yet.

I would be surprised if you manage to hurt your site with a link wheel, when you will have 20-40 direct links to your money site.

Don't worry - go ahead and work on your link wheel.

I've just ranked two of my sites (born around two months old) on the first page of Google using my linkwheel strategies.

Yes, LinkWheel is great for your new site especially from those web 2.0 sites as they leave no bad footprint for your value website.

When you backlink your linkwheels (blog comments/forum comments) with the same backlinks you use for the money sites. Is that wrong in the eyes from google?
