links vs links

I have purchased an expired domain with nice authority and it has been indexed on google.

What do you think the best use of it could be?

Add a footer & widget link there?

Add a link to my money site for every post there?

301 redirect it to your domain as you only have one.

Yes, you can add links on every post. that will be helpful for your money site rankings and also share your links on social media sites.

I don't recommend a 301, especially if it's not relevant to your money site.

Don't add links to your page from every post, bad idea. If the domain is relevant to your main domain, a header or sidebar link would be best, footer 3rd.

If you want to make it a PBN site, maybe you should write a few really good posts - each at least 1000+ words in length - and link to your money site from the homepage only once. All of these articles should be on the same topic as your money site.

Contextual links are a lot more powerful compared to sidebar / footer links.

You wouldn't link to a money site more than once from a PBN site. And you wouldn't want to link to more than one money site from a single PBN domain.

And maybe you should not use WordPress either. I wouldn't use WP on a PBN domain.

If it's your ONLY website, 301 redirect it to your money.. you have so little to begin with PBN/Side-Domain ranking..

Though I agree with you in most of what you said in the other threads.

Put some related to money site articles. Then put a link in one. And link that article from everywhere.

Referring to me? Haha, I'm no guru..

But I do give advice where I see I fit in.. I've owned 103 PBNs at one point.. Did a lot with 301 redirects..

Let's be honest, you don't "get in the PBN game" until you have 10 PBNs and you learn about hosting them on different IPs, footprints, theme management, etc.

My advice is to 301 the good SEO that domain has and move onto the next important project..

Anyways.. listen to whoever you want OP..

Build some content on this new domain, see what happens. If it ranks, it's clean. Wait a few months and place a link to your main site on the sidebar. Don't overoptimize the kw, just a link to the domain name will do and will be relatively safe. Done : that's all the juice you'l lget from it.

You might even make money from the new domain if you do it right, you get the link and monetize the 1st tier how about that?

I think the real "secret" is the right mix I think. Contextual links from content are great, but vary it. Contextual, a footer here, a sidebar/widget there, image link, banner link that looks like a real ad, "designed by" link on a contact or imprint page. Same for the sites, nothing wrong with wordpress, but there are a bunch of free CMS, hompage construction kits/services and even some old fashioned looking pure HTML site isn't wrong. Harder to manage than a single CMS solution, but worth it.

There is no law that a PBN must be a blog, just because of the B in PBN. In some PBNs, we e.g. have one site that just has text like "We are sorry, but for [whatever reason] we were forced to close down [old site name] after [domain age] years. Thanks to all [customers/visitors/clients/members] who stayed till the end, you can still reach us via [[email protected], real, forwarder to trash], but can't accept any new [requests/orders]. We recommend [moneysite keyword links] in case you require a reliable [type of service] in [location]". Make it longer, add the history of the company, so basically a "farewell page", static HTML, one external link. Just a basic example, you get the idea, being a little creative won't hurt. The more variety, the more natural it looks, not just for humans, for Google, too.

If I were you I would use it's authority to rank some keywords. However, 301 redirect is working okay although I think it's a waste for a whole domain
