I do know that you can place your link in a video if you are nonprofit organization but they are selling their product.

If the company is on the list of approved affiliates, they can put links in annotations. In fact, you have to be on that list do put any kind of external link in an annotation.

You can ad your own site as an associated website in the advanced channel settings. Then you can redirect a page to any affiliate site you want.
