I have a site on which all of my most powerful links got removed.

It happened a week ago, and the site is still ranking #1. No change so far.

Will my ranking drop? When?

Do you mind sharing your experiences?

Just wait and see, it will take more than weeks to drop.

Don't wait for anything, keep building more content and links to the site and watch your increases!!

But for sure it will drop? Maybe there is a chance my ranking will stick?

A natural process by Google. It can take a fairly long time. Before, it settles down you can expect some fluctuation in the SERP.

Up to a month or so in my experience.

If I'd be in your shoes I wouldn't wait for rankings to drop. If you start building new links now right away you might only bounce a bit before being back up at #1. Waiting for the drop and acting afterwards will cost you a few weeks of earnings until the new links kick in.

Though result varies, but typically you will see it for a few weeks or may take for more than a month.

Thanks for the advice, Still no ranking drop (2 weeks). But I will add some links.

Round about 4-5 weeks in my experience, but it gives you the time you need to build new links

You can also try adding more links to compensate for the link drop instead of waiting for the ranking to drop. :)

A few months ago I had one client who was ranking pretty good for a few keywords, and he let his domain expire (on purpose, he was moving on to other things). It took almost a month for his site to drop out of the rankings. And that's with the ranking site not even existing!

Like I keep saying, *everything* is slower with Google these last several months.
