Hi pals, I would like to know if there's a maximum number of links pointing to my client's site on a 300-500 words article? 1? 3? 5? 10? Thanks a lot!

Im using 2 links per article.

Dont forget to make some with only 1 link so theres no footprint.

I don't think you should be having a paid client if you don't know whether 3 - 10 links is unnatural! Read up some more before you ruin someones rep.

Hi dude, thanks a lot for your help! Let me ask you something more, you say I can use max 2 links, but can I use more than 2 keywords? In other words, can I use 4 keywords and 2 of them with a link?

Here is number according to me

500 words = 1 link in article
700+ words = Max 2 links
1000+ words = Max 3 links.

Yeah sure, I appreciate your interest! But I'm not going to ruin someone's rep, that's why I'm asking for...

yes, it should be ok with 400-500 words

300 word = 1 link max
500+ word = 2 link max
700 to 1000 words = 2-3 max (i recommend 2)
1200+ words = 3 max

I always prefer 1 link per article and keep all the juice coming from it. And yeah it does looks less Spam.

I would say 3 is a pretty good max. More than that is mega spammy.

I wouldnt do any more than 1 useful link together with occasional authority links.

So, articles on NYT and Mashable are spammy cause they link to 10+ sites?

are these links all pointing to the same page or different pages of your site?

I think you would be fine with having 3-5 links from the same article of 500-1000 words but only if each link is pointing to a different page of your money site.

can you point me to where i could read up about this topic? i have searched bhw and google and didn't find anything

I use one and some 2.

Not daring to make a lot of links in one article.

It's totally depends on word count of articles as many told above. Personally, i suggest 1 link/article will get good benefits.
