Links in status updates

Everytime I post a link in a status update i get

"Sorry, we weren't able to post this.Please try again later. If this keeps happening, you can check the Known Issues on Facebook page to check for updates."


Normal status updates work fine, but links don't...

what am i missing here, what's the trick ?

maybe your account is still pretty new and you are not allowed to post links?

A couple weeks old and have over 2,000 friends... how long until I can post something?

I haven't seen any limitations to facebook statuses with links until now. Have you posted links prior to getting this error? If so, how many in a span of 1 hour?

Do you mean 'until now' as in my post?

These are all new accounts, never posted links before...

OK, I got the links working... but there is no image preview. Only the link. Kind of pointless since it doesn't stand out now...

Anyone have this problem?

Well every single account locked...

Links were fresh domains, so no idea what I did. They wouldn't post with any preview thumb, so had to post without the preview. And the accounts still got banned.
