Hi, I have 5 domains thats all information pages thats main purpose is to direct buyers to my money site. Should I have keyword links in the headers or footer of these 5 domains or will that have a negative effect? Today I have header keyword link on some of them and receive hundreds of links from that single domain. Does this have a positive or negative effect?

In my opinion you should get away from the idea of inserting keyword links to every of this 5 domains.
are they all on same ip or hoster?
A link isn't bad at all, but not all at the same time. Start by getting some Links for your information domains in order to get some link power to the domains. This may cause an even higher effect than get 5 Domainlinks from new domains.

They are of course on 5 different hosts and not connected in any other form than links from those pages to my money page. The question is the type of link. Is it better to just link within the text or is a header link better? whats the best link that someone can give you?

In my opinion, It wont be a good thing to put links in header/footer of all the 5 domains. As you said those 5 domains are not connected in any way...then I would say ..just put header/footer link with 1-2 domain and contextual (in content) link for rest of 3-4 domains...

Thanks for answering. Whats your logic behind that? Why would you do it on some and not everyone?

In my opinion having a link on the page (for example guest blogging is a big thing at the moment due to backlinks being in the "content" part of the page)

Footer links i'd tend to only use on my clients websites when they have 100+ pages and AFTER i've optimized their site..

I have admin user on some pr4 pages also. This is company pages to companies that do something totally different then my niche. Can I use this as a tier and optimize it for my keyword, even if the keyword is almost never used on this page?

Also, my question is still the same: Anyone that can recommend or not recommend to put links in other pages header/menu/footers?

Why would it matter if links were in the header, footer, or middle??? This sounds like a dumb thing for Google to care about. If it's on EVERY page of a site it's on EVERY page... who cares where on the pages it's on?

Actually, link position matters a great deal. There are quite literally a dozen videos my Matt Cutts on this as well as explanations as to why.

Quick summary:

1. Contextual links are best
2. Links at the beginning of content (first few sentences are given greater value)
3. Footer links should generally be avoided unless highly relevant or branded anchor text
3. Contextual links above the fold are the absolute best ( #1 + #2 )
