Hello, I'm thinking about getting some links from youtube for some of my sites that was hit by penguin, but I do not know how much these links are worth. I see that they are no follow so I do not know if it is even worth the effort. Also don't know how much these links would I need to see some results. I see that some people gets thousands of links from youtube, which seems quite crazy to me and also do not know how to do that. I also use methods how to get real youtube views, but don't know if it is any good for the backlink. I will appreciate any suggestions from you who are using backlinks from youtube. Thanks a lot.

Backlinks from youtube are great. From my experience it seems that video ranking has an almost direct effect on site ranking. (ie if your video ranks #1 in YT and G searches, it's almost certain your site will gain ranking for those kw).

Just make sure you do the Title, and tags right, and make your description a few hundred words at least (I spin mine).

It's also incredibly easy to rank YT vids, just throw a lot of fake views/likes/comments/etc at it in a short amount of time and spam it with scrapebox auto-approve backlinks.

Thanks man, gonna try it.

How much vids do you use for one website, do you like to main url or pages?

Depends on how competitive the niche is. For my largest website I have a thousand at least (over a couple of years), for a smaller one I only have 2 yet they are both ranked highly in G and have 100k+ views.

I'd do 10 to start, space the uploads out over a while, and choose one that you want to be the 'main' one, then buy some views/likes/etc to it with Fiverr. Link to your main page and any others you want to rank.

It all really depends though.

Does anyone know if page rank on youtube videos also increases or are all pages and different videos on youtube the same as youtubes overall ranking? I have a vid that has tons of views and links to it so if using that as a backlink that should be a really good link to have.

I'm a bit confused on what you mean (my fault, it's Monday morning), but if you mean you are thinking of embedding videos onto your site from Youtube (providing you own these) then you will benefit in an SEO perspective (or alternatively it would actually be better to host them on your site).
If you actually mean links through comments on Youtube videos then I wouldn't bother.

I think he's talking about links in the description of his personally uploaded Youtube videos.

Links on any video description are no-follow, but links on your own channel description(about info) are do-follow.

Very interesting piece of info for me and yes, I meant links from description.
