Hello. So I know for a fact that I have five links from penalized websites that are deindexed by google. Should I disavow these links or email the webmasters to take them out?
The links can't hurt your site since the domains have been deindexed. But if you still want to go ahead with removing them, get the owners to remove the links like IamKing advised above. Disavow them if you can't get them removed.
