Hi,

of course it is much easier to build own link-farms on one server. Anyone has experience with this tactic?

How important is the variance of different ips?

Google simply hates it, so I wouldn't do what most webmasters do is create their own link farm with no protection at all. If you do consider this method, at least have a variety of IPs in my opinion and mix the linking up a bit so it isn't as suspicious.

Google will punish you hard if you do it. Make sure that you use different IP:s

Hi; re "and the domains are on different names", you mean on different nameservers?

I usually just use my hosts (GoDaddy) nameservers and point an A-Record at the IP where my site is hosted, works very well for BH. In regards to the original poster, you want as many incoming links from as many different IP (Preferably different C-class IP blocks) as possible. That's why Xrumer worked so well originally.
