Links Building Services - is there ANY POINT in using them??

I use(d) several, some reputable, links building services here. I'm not going to name them for those guys (and, perhaps some girls) do their job and deliver as promised. (not the rankings though)

However, after thousands and thousands of links "created" I can't find many, perhaps only a few. All the links I can find on:

- Webmaster Tools;
- Ahrefs;
- various online backlinks checkers;
- Market Samurai;

are the links I created via my own blogs, related websites and several social networks. I repeat, almost ZERO, NADA, ZILCH, backlinks were registered in any of those tools that are coming from teh services I use and pay for? So I ask myself - especially when I think of pure garbage, so-called articles some of those service's provide - what's the point?

Any comments?

Did any of these services advertise getting the links indexed? If not then it is up to you to get them indexed by Google and can be a job in and of itself.

So after a backlink is created, you have to then go index it? are you serious?

First of all, social backlinks like bookmarks don't show on link checkers and that's normal, and the only thing that matters is that they show to google anyway.

And nope, not all services work, because there are so many variables in seo. It's not that the sellers are intentionally selling garbage (well.. I'm sure some are), almost every service works when used with the right site, but you have to know what works to get results. You can't just throw random shit at a new domain and expect to rank. Especially after Panda.

I would focus on building links yourself because you don't have any quality control over other vendors.

You can be cautious, careful, and thorough making sure your blog networks have no footprints, your 2.0s don't use duplicate content, or your blog comments aren't all 100% using the same anchor. However all it takes is one vendor messing one of these things up and it can hurt all of your other careful link building.

You can outsource, and it will probably work, but your odds of getting hit by new updates will be a lot higher and your fate will be in control of a bunch of people who are probably cutting corners.

I am not sure how to respond to this?

Step 1. Create Backlink
Step 2. Get Google to crawl it by using a indexing service or doing what other people do.
Step 3. Sometimes Google will crawl a link but not deem it worthy to index. You have to figure out a way to get it indexed.


These are pretty basic fundamental SEO idea's, if they sound odd to you maybe you need to find a new job/hobby.

It does take a long while to get your links indexed as well, so it's never just 10K links in 1 month, they could be indexed on google after 1 week to several months.

use backlink indexers to index links,
Web 2.0 links need some linkjuice themselves to come good and be crawled by google. A couple of pings really don't do it.

Build at least one quality link a day (manually) for your own websites and use link services for clients!!!

Google is now giving very high priority to stop spammy backlinks with crappy articles. You can't expect your site to go high either in rankings or to see them in link reporting service like ahref. It takes time to index them all. I'd say analyze your competition and see how you can outrank them and build links on your own. There are hundreds of threads here popping out everyday about how a member ranked his site and what strategy he used to rank,etc.., Take some time to go through them, You'll find the answer for your question yourself.

Major problem I could notice is , many are interested to see their backlinks on ahrefs and SE and kind of those tools, I would suggest my clients to track their SERP , if they get a improvement in SERP what else is more important. Most of the tools just don't give all the data, If there is any tool which can give all the backlink data, then SEO would have been a different game.
