Links building does increase traffic?

Hey,

I am building links for Nogentech(.)org but not getting good traffic.. what type of link building will work? can you give me a solid suggest?

Once you start getting some good rankings, You would get traffic as well. What's your keywords and current ranking?
 
If you're looking for links that bring traffic for a blog, Reddit is the way to go.

I'm using technology news, latest tech news, medical technology, and using any keyword of my blog content link because some blogs only allow posts linking..
 
If you want organic traffic then you shall go with some good type of postings so that people will love to know about your site.

You could try to post some of your news articles to reddit or similar sites, great for both traffic and linkbuilding.
 
depends on what links you are building and how old their content is.

I think he's trying to rank his site with backlinks for traffic, which is sometimes an iffy choice. You can rank a site, but there is still no guarantee someone will click on that link in search or even if they do, that they'll stay long enough on the site they land on to buy/optin/affiliate with what's being offered.

Link building on social networks like Reddit is more about harnessing the social power. It works in a similar way as forum promotion and relies on trust building with the community. Reddit is a super picky crowd, if they like you, they'll love your links. If they think you are a spammer, you're out in a flash.
 
If you're looking for organic ranking on search engines, links from valuable domains would probably be the way to go (that is if the keywords are not too competitive and the monthly searches are enough). But if you just want to get traffic from the links without increasing your websites ranking, then I think any kind of social media or interaction based platforms that is specific for your niche would be good. For example facebook groups, reddit as previously mentioned, or maybe twitter/instagram/forum posting. It all depends on what you are most comfortable using :)

Link building method that works for me is: Private Blog Network and Guest Post (and Guest Post can bring you instant traffic as well, as long as you should go with Authority Site, NOT sites that were established just for the sole purpose of selling guest posts)
 
Guest Blogging, Links through content marketing
 
I would suggest guest blogging, using Reddit and posting some articles there even if you are posting on forums on a regular basis I would consider placing a link on your account on there either in your profile or signature if you are able to do help with link building.
 
Depending on if your keyword was ranked will depend on if your link building works. It could take some time so I would keep working at it.
 
Keep working at it and keep working on the keywords you want to see ranked. In time you will see results.
 
Links don't bring you any traffic. They improve your rankings on google and other search engines, and good ranking gets you traffic.

You should identify good keywords before you start your link building. by building link , your long tail keywords should rank and thu traffic would increase. Another option is to be active on social media which would increase traffic and authority.
