Linkpushing - lets see if it works with a real time study

I've ranked page 1 - #1, with a single AA blast (around 1000 links showing in majesticSEO) on a term that gets around 30k exact searches per month

Yeah...

So it looks like 3 linkpushes are helpful for getting somewhere on mid-to-bottom page 1 for a low competition, long tail keyword. That mean anyone using this seriously in a higher competition environment is paying for a LOT of pushes?

That's essentially correct.

But wouldn't a LOT of pushes leave as big of a footprint as other more effective strategies? And footprint is the whole point, right.

Just add 5-10 build my rank posts and you shall get to top 5 at least. LP is great but vary as much as possible the links sources - add blog posts, bookmarks, profiles.

I understand this is a case study but this is definitely not the proper way...

How competitive are the keywords/niche?

I have to add my two cents..

Linkpushing is a sic service.

Of all the services I have subscribed to or purchased here on the BHW, Linkpushing is by the far one of the best if not the best... For one, you get full control of your own backlinking.. You don't have to wait around for other people to do it, wondering if they are even doing anything.. The reporting is outstanding. Although I have never had any interaction with Greg aka Bass Tracker Boats (though being a fellow florida boy, he can't be all that bad.), I have interacted with his partner Kevin and he is a great guy. Any problems or questions I have ever had have always been responded to very quickly.

It's too hard to guess how the service will fare for everyone for so many reasons. Your site and content quality, how competitive your niche / keyword is and the list goes on.

As for my personal results.. They have been nothing but stellar. If you read thru all of their material which I am sure many have not, you will see that they talk about running many LPs on competitive niches / KWs, I believe it was like 25, plus a handful of XLPs (extended linkpushes) as well. I find it works wonders for local seo.. Like keyword phrase that has a geo-locator in it.. like "gainesville plumbing" or "plumbing gainesville"

As for using the service.. It is sooooo easy literally a caveman could do it. 30 seconds per LP setup if that.

One thing I have noticed and would say that should be expected is the more competitive your niche you will have to run a few lp's a month to keep the sites in position. Which totally makes sense.

Anyways, if you have any doubts, don't.. Just go for it, the service rocks.

To be honest, I think using automatic LP isnt really worth it if you are targeting a competitive keyword. I would advise you to use manual LP (using your own unique article). It takes longer to setup but it's way better.

Wokaka, How long does it take you to setup one manually? I would think quite a few hours.

If your paying somebody to do it manually, it is probably expensive as well..

I honestly use a mild mixture of both sometimes, building some web 2.0 properties by hand and then running LPs to them. This helps cut down on the manual labor time. I find helps push your KW to the next level when needed.

My educated guess on why this service doesn't work for some people is because their websites are optimized properly to start with. Not referring to you wokaka by this at all.. Just in general.
