Linklicious.me now in free open beta

Hi Extropy,

first thanks for all your effort!

I have a question - I am testing the free package right now. I see that my RSS feed has been spidered, but when i click on "details", all the URLs i have in this feed have note "never" in spidered column. The feed has been submitted 6 days ago, non of the backlinks (profile backlinks) are indexed based on yahoo site explorer and backlinkwatch.com. Does it mean that the feed will be pinged until URLs will be spidered, or this feature is for BASIC or PRO version only?

thanks

the free service is usless, as i see on other comment here and as i saw on my files. i bought the 10K pag', added links yesterday - still don't saw any of the links indexed (havn't checked with SB yet, will do it when it will be 24 hours from when added it)....

when done it on regular rss, in this perion i was regular to see results also... but well give it few more days to tell finel thoughs....

Great service extropy;
I am finding great value in your service.

I have a couple recommendations for future updates or additional features.

1. When I attempted to upgrade my free membership, the site automatically logged me out and I was forced to sign up again with different info. Not that big of a deal, but I would have preferred to keep my original usr, email, etc.. and just upgrade to paid status. I'm hoping it won't do the same if/when I get to the point of upgrading further and needing a PRO account.

2. Option to choose what feeds (checkbox) you download in CSV format.

3. also option to dl links (inside feed details) in CSV format (to show when specific links were spidered)

Thanks for considering these options.

It's not a service to get your links indexed. It definitely can help in getting them indexed, but it's a service to get your links crawled...get them noticed by the search engines!

I've noticed increases in serps ranking without links actually being indexed before...

I mean, indexed links are a nice thing to have, i.e. it's nice to look at a number showing you loads of backlinks pointing to your domain. But even your links just getting noticed by the search engines can make a difference from what I can tell. And that's what this service is all about.

(You've got to remember, G barely shows a fraction of a websites backlinks, and the numbers reported in YSE...are for YSE - not G... - so check serps ranking, not backlinks...well, you can check backlinks sometimes...just so you know! :D )

@traged - What you see is the difference between free and paid versions of the site. Free is what we all used to do - links2rss, icerocket, etc. It just doesn't work because while Google crawls the feeds, it won't crawl the links. With the paid service we ping the links until Google gets those too. If you build links to the feeds it'll help, but IMO not worth the time.

@genotip - It's important to note that crawling isn't the same as indexing. When you are working with volume (profiles, comments), it isn't cost effective to pay BIE/BE to get them indexed. Instead it makes more sense to work to get them crawled. Profiles get crawled at under 5%, so 95% of your links are never seen. With Linklicious we ping until Google crawls so you get 100% crawl. And like we all know, you can rank with profiles alone and those don't index.

@spdbmp - Sorry about the upgrade problem. Two people brought it to our attention yesterday and I believe we have it fixed. I don't think the checkbox d/l would work well because we are dealing with hundreds or thousands of feeds. Are you looking to get a CSV of just the 20ish links in one feed? If you can share your goal we may be able to figure out something that'll work for everyone.

@chichantre - Couldn't have said it better myself.

There is so much disinformation out there. Don't take my word or the word of anyone else for truth. Set up your own test cases and gauge your results by the SERPs!

never get enough reading the index and crawl thing in our pms and now our secret is blown!!! :)

anyways, as per my last pm, the detail link is back there. also i could set the number of links per feed already.

thanks.
PS:when u said im top 50 pioneer batch, does that mean im the 50th? heh

Ok i get it. But what is then the purpose to create RSS feeds from my backlinks? If i would just ping my links on regular basis using some mass ping tool like pingywebedition.somee.com - directly the backlinks without any RSS feed - it will do the same as your paid service, am i right?

Anyone getting good results in the serps from this service? I just plunked down for premium and must say on several forums im seeing lots of potatoes and not much meat when it comes to reviews/results posted.

Much appreciated if you can post if you are seeing a rise in serps from these (unindexed but spidered) links.

same here, hope i'm wrong but - i bought few days ago to the besic pag' and added profile links. right now it don't seems like those links are index faster.

and really, really hope to be wrong and to see better result on the next few days as it is a great service that saves time but to be good - it should work also and not just have a very beautiful website.

We use the service, and we love it, can not say enough good things about it!

Linklicious.me Simply the best!

Hey Extropy;

Yes, I would like to be able to select specific RSS feeds per client to be able to dl in csv package. The smallest option currently is 25, 50, or 100 feeds, but suppose a client only has 10, 15, or even 80 feeds, it would be convenient to select which ones to dl instead of dl all and then deleting the ones that are not theirs. Also, with regards to the links in the feeds (the 20ish). Yes, you know... when you hit the 'details' tab and it shows when the individual links were spidered this would be beneficial to have a dl CSV option to show a client specifically when their actual links were spidered.

Thanks

yea the credit card thing isn't secured, I'm tripping over it too.. whats the percentage of the links get indexed? And in how long? How after do you set to ping your links? Thank yoU!

@viper - you were one of the first 50! And I love spying on the link crawls too. It's really interesting watching the patterns of Google crawls. When you add a page or a 100 pages on a site you don't notice how they crawl. But with a setup like this you can get insight into how they do things.

@traged - You can look at the product matrix on the site to see what each package does.

@sarge / geno - Easy answer. Set up tests - that's what we did. Great example - this week we moved from out of the top 250 to page 1 for 'Houston Diabetes' in 7 days using profiles. Only 1 or 2 of the profiles was indexed.

@smolodoys - Um... Not sure where you are seeing anything insecure. It's all SSL and processed by Authorize.net. Links get drip fed out at the rate you pick - once a day, or 24 times a day. You generally get total link crawling within a day and crawls usually start within just a few minutes of going live.

@spdbump - What do you think about adding tagging on your links as they are loaded? Then you could download everything that matches a tag? Right now when you click the download link it gives the full list. LMK if I'm missing your request as we're happy to improve the service.

This is an amazing service, can't say enough good things about it. I got the pro account and my site is in a very competitive niche, pretty new (4months or so) and I was on page 1, around 9-10 place struggling not to fall down. After loading up all my links in linklicous.me I got to 3 place OVER NIGHT!! (to anyone who may think I got jumped cuase of the links I made, they were over 2 months old, the only difference was linklicous.me)
Great service, keep it up!

I have bought a premium account last week.
So far i have just made one test so it's still early to rate the service but first test has not been very positive.
I have made two xrumer blast using the same linklist.
About 4000 profiles.
I tried to index the first blast using the usual procedure of submitting feed to feedlisting and after 2 days 315 profiles were indexed. Every feed contained 100 url.

I tried to index the second blast using linklicious. I created feed with 100 url and i scheduled it to ping them ever 1 hour. After 2 days all links appears as spidered in the admin interface. Only 30 profile has been indexed.

I wonder if someone has made similar tests and what are the results.

This is one ass kicking service if it really does what it says on the tin :)
