No real negativity intended in my post - just giving food for thought.

Anyway, are you just going to rule out all the non-steak eaters? (by this, I mean the provider may or may not want to isolate the service to high-end users...JUST A THOUGHT!!! - no negativity intended! :rolleyes: )

At over 50 bux a month, how many customers do you think would actually be required to cover the costs too, as well as making a tidy profit?

Here's another thought: BLE and BMD can be bought for not much more than $200. If you're smart enough, you can figure out a way to not only get your links cralwed, but even build links to your links that can be seen very easily and quickly by the SEs.

Furthermore, when did I ever say all I want is something that is FREE? :rolleyes:

Many questions in here and I'm still a bit down from New Years. If I don't hit them all then post up again please. We'll be sending an email to current users letting them know of the changes too.


@tyler - Live are feeds that are live, and scheduled are the ones we haven't begun pinging yet. There is no need to delete anything.

@alchemical - Great suggestions and I put them on our future features list. I expect we'll be able to get that going in January. You are able to load more now (if you have the account) but you are subject to web timeouts depending on net connection and processing time. We say 2000 to avoid people on slow connections timing out.

@chichantre - If you pay $100 for a jumbo profile blast and we know that 95+% don't even get crawled, then $95 of your money is wasted. If you pay $5 for profiles and $14.50 for Linklicious, then you've saved $80 from one profile blast because all of your links are crawled.

We have multiple fully dedicated servers hosted at 100tb.com for this service. We are pinging millions of times a day and need the hardware and bandwidth and 200 dedicated private proxies. The service is simple, but in action it's quite a bit more involved.

@genotip - thanks for testing the service out. I ask that you wait a few days before you start it officially though. We reset several million links to re-ping so we can get a baseline on our new server/site pinging and crawling performance. :)

@chicantre - lol. This is a different service and as with any of the tools out there, you can shoehorn things in to work however you want. We do one thing and do it well. I expect fewer than 10 to sign up for the $54 package. It's mainly there for high link posters and people who want customized domains. That doesn't even cover hosting costs, let alone programmer time. (I own a web development shop and built this tool in house at first for our own SEO clients. We then expanded it and are now rolling it out)

Although I have not used your service and likely never will, that's an amazing development and contribution to the BHW community. Did you develop this site yourself, or have someone else develop it and you purchase it?

For those not aware, this is a service that will take your list of links, put them into RSS feeds, and drip feed them out at a rate you define. It'll ping the links and track the crawls so you know exactly when they were found.

- We just integrated with Drip Feed Blasts. All link blasts are pulled into the service and the links are pinged and tracked. Yes, we pull from multiple accounts since dealing with that is such a PITA!
- We've also rolled out integration with MyLinkClub for their service. This will automagically pull in their links as well.

We have another integration partner that'll probably hit around the end of the year that should be exciting. It's a new product that's in a similar space as DFB and MLC but hasn't been opened to the public yet.

Just signed up and am anxious to see the results, been looking for something like this.. i've been paying $1 per 100 links indexed at another service, which isn't too maintainable when I'm doing 10k links a day.
 
@neg - Thanks! We have designers and programmers in house (in Texas). It's been my pet project to roll out our internal tools in a nice package.

@brutang - Check out the FAQ on the site for the distinction between crawls and indexing. I don't want to get your hopes up for a magic solution. We'll take your profile link crawls from 5% to 100% - but you'll not see huge jumps in indexing. You WILL see bumps in your SERPs though.

lol, is it like a post=sendmail type deal? Anyhow, how much is it? Ive been looking at it, ive been using the demo vers.
 
i opened new account to check if it works - i mean, really works. for this made some new page on the server. i uploaded it on the OP service under the free option.
it's been 1-2 days late, and the page still havn't indexed (good domain).

but i got some mail from Justin saying:
If you want to get your links crawled and counted automagically, you'll need to upgrade to the Basic or Pro level. Otherwise you're just using the same old system (that doesn't work!) that was the standard before Linklicious..

so as i understood it - the free service is besiclly usless.

so i'm stoping to check this link, but i do want to say that my second page that i added for the test using other tools (i used just RSS for it) already indexed by google. the link i uploded on Linklicious.me still not.

once again - this is not a good check right now, as it says that the free pag' is not working .

i would very happy to hear from you if you had good index % rates using this service. i usully get around 80%+ of my links get indexed, even if it's profiles.

it's all sound logical as rss bring good result when using it in the right way, and if this service doing it - 50$ is pretty nothing compared to the time i'm wasting right now on this mission.

will try this service next month and will update you with result and once again - good luck to OP with his service!

It is just an insecure html form! basically you type in all your details and they can read them the other end...Erm no way!!!
 
Looks like an interesting service, I might try it out for a month if/when you offer a method to purchase through paypal.

Do the RSS links have to be submitted to RSS aggregators still or is this automatically done with the Linklicious service (as ping service)?

What are you talking about? This service uses SSL and authorize.net as the gateway. There is no emailing going around.

I run a real web shop - humankindinc.com. We've built e-com systems that handle millions of dollars in transactions A MONTH. We implement real e-commerce and not paypal because I can't stand paypal policies (see paypalsucks.com and wikileaks for examples). If it causes heartburn for some people, so be it.

We handle all the pinging necessary to get it crawled, so you don't need to submit it aywher else. It goes out to our 'secret sauce' mix of engines and directories.

Check out the infographic on the home page for a bit more detail on the process.
 
Am now a pro user and have to say this service is absolutely kick ass! My only possible improvement so far would be to expand the URL's box to up to 10,000 for pro users, as it's still quite time consuming cutting and pasting blocks of 2k, waiting for it process,etc. If you're really posting 50,000 per day which some pro users may be, that could take quite a while....
This is the best link building innovation in a long time in my humble opinion and now sets the gold standard!

Hey thanks!

Right now we do all processing in real time which is why it is a bit slower than expected. Later this month we'll roll out asynchronous processing so you can paste in the full amount or upload a file of links.

We've got some more goodies coming as well. We're all about automation and making our life easier.
