Linklicious.me now in free open beta

The site still says that you will be moving to new servers later today and that has been a few days. I didn't want to put more urls there until you guys were on your new servers. Please advise status.

for premium its going to be 15 a month? or year? or FOREVER? you should make different payment plans for different time periods!
 
We had the 'moving' message up for 24 hours and a 'backlog' message up for 24 hours. We were hosting on several servers in our office and have moved to multiple servers at a data center. This is VERY intensive application with all the pinging, logging, and tracking.

But it's alive and better than ever!

@ramtriper - We'll have a couple of pricing options for the free, basic and pro based upon what you are looking to do.

We've got two big changes coming next week as well as another API partner that should come online.
 
there's a thing that i don't understand:

few days ago i've created some scheduled rss feeds (about 10) to ping every 12 hours,

Today i logged in and found 4 pages of scheduled feeds.

How can i stop the creation of new feeds with the same old backlinks ? (should i stop them or they are so many because needed to ping all the links i put in the feed ?)
 
I'm using free service of Linklicious.me it is enough for me now. I'm thinking in the future buy premium service. It's really great. Thanks Extropy for this great service. I hope system will be succesfull in future.
 
@dario - When you load a bunch of links, you don't want them all pinged or you'll put yourself in the sandbox. (Imagine google finding a few thousand links all at once!) By default those links are split into RSS feeds and those RSS feeds are dripped out on a schedule. I believe the defaults are files of 20 links put out twice a day (so 40 links/day). In that case if you added 2000 links, it would take 50 days for your links to be fed out. If you want it put out faster, just tweak the feed size and scheduled release rates. We don't invent new feeds but instead build feeds with the links you submit.

@codBq - thanks! Right now everyone is getting the 'full' product for free while we hammer the site looking for lingering bugs or performance issues. If I don't feel it's ready yet, I'm sure as heck not going to charge you to be a guinea pig!

What's the difference between
"Ping all items" and "Ping RSS Feeds" ?
My website is more likely to be sandboxed if i ping all backlinks ?
Is Pinging just the RSS Feeds effective anyway ?
 
i just signup and i will test it, hopefully it can ping and indexed my back link
 
@dario - Some people just want to use the service to build RSS feeds. The rest of the people should select 'ping all links'. If you check 'ping all', then be sure you use the scheduling feature so they all don't get pinged at once. A butt load of links pinged on load could get you dancing or sandboxed.

After much testing we've found that pinging RSS feeds alone isn't enough to get you much benefit. You get a max of 10% of the links inside the feed crawled after a week. To work best you have to link build to the feeds or ping the links individually inside the feeds. We chose the pinging route for the premium members.

What I normally do is ping my URLs first and my RSS feeds second. I don't usually ping my backlinks. It seems to time consuming to do this. Am I doing something wrong here? I use Scrapebox to post on say 1,000 blogs. Are you saying I need to ping my posts?

Just tried your services and found its very useful.

Its a great service to have schedule mass ping system. Currently I am using pingdevice for pinging.
 
@lost - Many low value links are never found or crawled by Google. Pinging them gets them crawled so they count. It's not necessary, but why not get 100% of your links counting for you? This service automates that.

@johnmat - Pinging your links is ideal! Keep in mind that even with straight pings you don't get 100% crawls. We track the crawls and keep pinging until they do come.
 
Very soon... We've solved all of the scaling issues and will roll out the final product shortly. Christmas is slowing things down a bit. :)
 
So far I love it, and have definitely seen results. For a new website, I had only 3-5 backlinks for most of my pages, but a few days after submitting around 500 links to linklicious, I have 15-20 for many of the same deep links.

A few suggestions:
First, please make it a little more user friendly for people who are just getting into SEO! I'd love a little more explanation and information to go along with this - it took me a while to figure out exactly what the site was good for, to make sure it was safe for my site (white hat), etc.

Second, use military time or AM/PM when displaying time.

Third, I submitted additional links around 3 days ago and they still haven't been crawled by google. It would be great to post some info on how long this usually takes (and when I should start to worry that something has gone wrong!)

Overall, excellent site that provides REAL results REALLY FAST! Thank you for providing it for free (for now!) - Hope this helps and I earned my free use :)
 
Very nice. I'm using this service with MLC. I signed up for the free version a few days ago, but does that mean I will get the full version for now?
