Linking with other sites

Noob question #5201 this has probably been asked a millions times before. So I am getting approached lately a lot by people who want to do a link exchange. So i place their link they place mine. However often these links are placed on these /linkpartners/ links/ partners/ pages on their website. Where often there are a ton of links. I remember reading that the juice of such pages gets divided between all these links? Also some of these linkpages are hidden on their site so the page isn't in their menu or footer.

Does this matter? Do these pages which aren't linked from the footer still give juice?

Of course they give juice, but they are mostly shit. If you want to exchange links with someone, careful check where would the link be placed and always go for contextual link, as you would do with a regular guest post.

The fact that "resource" pages are not in menu means fuckall. How can you hide links from Google, when you actually need Google to find them in order to credit you for them? Use your head.

These links value are generally equal to zero. And not to mention if you link exchange then you can get red flagged by google.
