Linking to domain or article ?

I have question:

I have keyword example: "bla bld bldf blar" about five words keyword and what is better for rankings to link directly to this article or to domain ? I need to rank this article high in serp's because the article title is same as keyword so I thinking is it better to get links directly to this article or to the main domain ?

To rank the article you need links to the article

point to article ofcourse

If you want to rank article then obviously you need to link that.. But if your main domain will also be a relevant page for that keyword, try double listing!
