Linking PBN to money site

Hi there,

I have a question that I've been really struggling to find an answer to myself - with lots of research! I would be grateful if somebody could point me in the right direction here

Basically, one of my money sites ranks on inner pages only (not the homepage or categories) - it is in the video game niche and so is targeting a different keyword for each individual page (50+ keywords currently).

I don?t know how to link my new PBN domains to the site ? am I better to link them to each of the pages for those targeted keywords ? my issue with this is that I have only 10 PBN domains and I can?t link each PBN domain to every single inner page without creating a footprint ? plus I won?t get much link juice for each page by doing this.

Or am I better linking to the homepage and hoping the link juice passes through to the inner pages?

Yeah, definitely don't link each PBN site to each inner page! I'd send some to the homepage and some to the inner pages. (It's also unnatural to have links only to inner pages in my opinion). Just be sure to have a good internal linking structure to help pass the juice.

It's no denying that sending link juice to homepage is a good strategy but as pointed out by @jo080711, you should split the link juice between homepage and internal pages. And you should build more PBNs to support your money-site in the meanwhile.

I've been toying with some internal linking ideas - my issue is that my site structure is:

Homepage (won't rank for anything)

Categories x 10 (Won't rank for anything)

Inner Pages x 50+ (Will rank for individual keywords)

So am I better to link back to the homepage - will the link juice flow through to inner pages?
Or to category pages and then interlink the category pages somehow?
Or between the inner pages - this would be very difficult without putting loads of links one one page and the keywords are totally unrelated.

Sorry if this sounds confusing, it's a real trouble that I'm having at the minute

If your site is properly siloe'd, then some good backlinks to homepage+categories will do the trick. This is a common strategy to rank longtails. And its totally logic and normal that your innerpages, that are the easiest keywords will rank first. Yes, I interlink the categories

Thank you very much mate, everything is clearing up nicely now - I was just very hesitant to do something wrong and waste my time

If the keywords are longtails, I will just use homepage and pages here and there RANDOMLY for extra push. If the keywords I am targeting are competitive, I might narrow down the pages that are most likely to convert well, and hit them one by one. But I won't use all 10 domains at once, test and mix a few, then maybe add more domains in the PBN along the way.

Make 60% linking to home page and 40% to inner pages.

They're not long-tails per se, so I guess I will have to do what you are saying - some are definitely more competitive than others though. If I link some PBN domains to the homepage, can I also have links from the same domains to inner pages (in say a different article, or is this not good practice?)

Also, if I link to inner pages on my money site, can I pass part of the authority back round the site by linking back up to a category page?

10 PBNs is pretty small network. I think you would need more sites to give a decent boost. But I would link 2 sites to homepage and then chose 2 pages that I'd want to rank higher and send 4 link to both of them.
