Linking landing page to a domain

Helli i have an access to a server where i can upload landing page i was thinking if i can register my own donain and link it to my domain name in short my landing page in my firiend host then kink that landing page to my registered domain is that possible?

Yes its very possible, Not even that hard if you know what your doing.
 
Well on windows you need to go into server manager and make sure you have ISS setup then you must bind the site you setup in ISS to the domain to the host in "bindings". Once you have done this you just need to allocate your website source files to the directory for that site your setting up in ISS... Now you need to make sure you have your name servers...Idk how to make them...I just use what I'm given.

After you're sure the landing page is working fine. The simplest method is creating "A" and/or "AAAA" record from domain management pointing to the server ip.

If you already have the site setup, then you just need to link another domain...?
Just forward the domain... simple as that... and mask if you want... or change the name servers and bind the extra domain in... should work.
 
This is not a very big deal to connect landing page to a domain.)

They're talking about your friend's host OS, does your friend already have domains attached to his/her host ? ca he/she still add more domains ?

Its something in tools within your server, you may need to install it.
 
It is possible. You just need to make some DNS changes for the working. You can set the A record (IP address of your server where your current landing page is pointing )pointing to your existing landing page to your new domain. Once done then allow 4 to 8 hours for the DNS propagation, the domain will display the landing page.

You can add the redirection from your domain name to landing page URL.
 
hello thank tou all for replying, before i do that i need a domain, can anyone suggest a cheap place to buy domain?

for now im trying rto connect my landing page in my own domain if it fails ill have to buy a web hosting on bluehost i guess
