linking back to money site

when making mirco niche site and sites linking back to your money site, is it real important to use a .COM or does it really matter which type of domain i use?

If you're talking about links back to your site, you'll want diversity in terms of diversity (edu, gov, com, org, etc.) as well as type (social bookmarks, blog comments, articles).

im refering to making some web2.0's and having them link back to my main site, and i can get some of my keywords in a .com but thats around 900.00 or i could get say a .net, .org, .biz etc for 10 bucks, a little more in my budget

Hi to all...
Over the weekend I discovered a site called Link Wheel that got my attention. They offer a service that creates "link wheels" for you, which is basically the "hub & spoke method" you may have heard about before. The concept is that you have a money site, and everything else you create is for the purpose of linking to and boosting the ranking of this money site. The money site being where you promote and sell something, the spokes or other sites being relevant content that funnels visitors into that site.......
