Linking 4 clients from the same sites good or bad idea?

Anyone know if google is able to tell the same 4 sites are often linked from the same sites?

I found a source of very legitamate authority links, and im lazy and cheap so I link my 4 clients from every single site.

So far it seems to be working, kind of. As long as I build links all rankings skyrocket.

Is this a good idea or will google slap me for this? What do you do on your PBN? Note, im not using a PBN.

It may be a bad idea, not so much because of the footprint, but because if that one site gets hit, well then you have 4 clients that you have to somehow save.

I saw that happen with a local SEO company that only used one of those guest blogger services to promote sites, when they got slapped they suddenly had hundreds of clients that they needed to save, needless to say they aren't around anymore.

Treat each of your clients individually, it'll keep down on headaches in the future.
 
Also long as the site that you are creating the link from is in your control and has a good reputation with the search engines you are safe. And if the site gets screwed you lose 4 clients at the same time !!

Moral of the story : Don't put all of your eggs in the same basket !

Its not even one site but lots of sites. I just do linkbuilding for 4 clients simultaniously lol.

The sites im getting links from however are very legit, dont even know what seo is.

And I almost dont do KW anchor text at all.

Well much things depend on the variation ! Not just anchor text variation ! IF things are to look natural .. i suggest go for different domains as well for each 4 clients. Don't create equal number of links for all the 4 sites, from the same domains
 
It's fine. The sites will still rank. The problem is the foot print, which exposes the network. In this case its not yours, so you're fine.

Note: This is the situation right now (2014).... who knows if Google will start penalizing people for this in 2015.
 
It's absolutely fine. Just make sure that the 4 clients doesn't have the exact same link portfolio. If you are building 100 links for each, they shouldn't all be from the same source. I might be considered as a footprint. but as long as a few links are concerned, you should do just fine.
 
Are they in the same niche? If they're , its all right!

They arent at all. Very different niches, but the sites already have a good link profile, I just add to it, but all the same for all sites. And the backlink sites are completely irrelevant too, but very legit.
 
Its Safe, As far 4 client sites and one link site are niche relevant...
