LinkedIn profile suspended, can I get it back?

Hi everyone,

My LinkedIn profile has been suspended. It’s a legitimate profile. All I did was just join some groups and they suspended my account.

I was planning on writing some articles and posting them in the groups. When I say articles I mean genuinely helpful data driven stuff.

I’ve submitted my government ID for verification. But I’d already done this before when I created the account.

How likely am I to get the account back?

It’s annoying, because I was just about to pay for sales navigator and they banned my account.

Any advice from anyone?

provided that the profile is authentic i think that there is a good chance of getting it retturned. as u have already sent ur identification i would advise not to make any further changes in the account or open a new one before the process is over.

Is your account new? Because it doesn't seem normal to get banned just for joining some groups

Yeh it’s new, I did keep joining lots. But it didn’t give me a warning or anything

give them your all legal document and one more thing do previously use same info for creating account or have any suspended old account history

This might be the reason. I have an old account from back when LinkedIn first started, and I can perform so many actions on it without any issues.
Hopefully, you’ll get your account back if all you did was join a few groups.

Joining a bunch of groups at once might have looked unusual to their system hopefully the ID review clears it up.

Yeah if you have contacted the support with your valid credentials I believe you have a good chance to get the account back.

The ID you submitted will trigger a verification into the activities on your account. If you have always flown straight on LinkedIn, you will get it restored pretty fast. But if the find fishy activities, it will take a longer time which might last forever. There has been an infestation on LinkedIn they are trying to curb and clear.

Yaa, hopefully you can get it back. Since you've already submitted your ID, I'd just wait for LinkedIn's response and follow up if needed.

Most probably you will get account back because you did not do much spam.

If the personal information on your LinkedIn account matches the information on your official documents, you should be able to recover and regain access to your LinkedIn account.
