Can I create a new LinkedIn account, connect with potential clients, and then send them direct message to inform them about my company's services?

I'm wondering what I should do to avoid getting banned. How many connection requests and direct messages per day are considered acceptable?

I assume that older accounts perform better, but I’d like to build new ones using names that are common in my country.

What if i use my real account for this? Account is old more than 11 years and connected with around 7000 potential clients.

Thanks for advice!

Yes, you can but go slow.
New accounts: 10–15 requests/day, no hard pitch upfront
Aged account: 30–50 requests/day, 20–40 DMs/day max
Warm up with profile views, likes, comments
Don’t spam — personalize everything

Your 11 y/o account is gold. Use it smart, not aggressive.

For a new account keep connection requests low initially maybe 10-20 per day. Personalize each request and message. DMs should be even fewer perhaps 5-10 per day and avoid generic sales pitches. Leveraging your existing 11-year-old account with 7000 connections is much better.

Sorry but most of the advice you got here is bad. I’ll explain how you do a Linkedin acc properly:

1. Your old account - excellent. 7k is a decent number, I assume they are mostly contacts in a niche, yes? If they are, find popular hashtags on that niche and start creating content. People on LinkedIn are generally tired of sales messages. Just connect with them.

Now, connections - you are limited to 100/week, so I would choose them carefully. The best way to do this is to get sales navigator and filter contacts in your niche with “posted recently”.

That way you will find active accounts, study them, comment on them, connect WITHOUT A PITCH.

Focus on your content.

In about 2,5 months you should have 1k decent leads and sales navigator would have cost you about 300$.

But if you use this + create high quality content, you will build authority and people will promote/gravitate towards you.

2. Now, your new accounts. Here are the rules:

a. You must ALWAYS have a match between internet connection and declared location. If you live in Germany and say you are from US, you get insta shadowbanned.

2. ALWAYS maintain a professional email. Troll or weird emails get flagged immediately. I had emails like mistercoque, mikehawk, hugecoque that were flagged immediately.

3. Try to keep profile as grounded as possible. Add local university, a local job, a nice name, no professional pic is necessary in the beginning. Let the account age.

4. Target your hashtag niche words and start warming up. Likes, occasional comment, follow.

5. New accounts also have the 100/week connection limitation. You can use it, but not too fast. Maybe do them all in 3/4 days.

NOW, what you can do, since you have sales navigator, you can connect with active people too. So you build several accs at the same time and then connect yours in between eachother.

IMPORTANT: make sure your accounts are geographically accurate. Again, if you’re in Germany but say you are USA, you’re shadow banned instantly.

you can create a new LinkedIn account for outreach, but to avoid getting banned, make the profile look genuine with a real name, photo, and full details, then gradually warm it up by sending 5–10 connection requests per day at first, increasing slowly over a few weeks. Direct messages should be personalized and not too salesy, especially early on. Your 11-year-old account with 7,000 connections is actually a great asset just be careful not to suddenly ramp up activity or use aggressive automation. Older accounts tend to perform better, but if you're planning to scale, using both your main account and one or two well-managed new ones could be a smart approach

you can buy an aged account + ip and bypass some of
those restrictions .

You can do 200 LinkedIn Connection Requests Per Week and 200 in-mail messages per week. I can set this up with A.I if you want to automate the whole process.
