Hi,

I've been doing lead generation via Google Adwords a while, generating steady flow through Adwords, SEO & Facebook retargeting. To capture another part of the market I was looking into LinkedIn ads. The platform seems very lackluster in targeting.

Has anyone here had any success with it?

It depends on your niche, but LinkedIn ads platform has proven to be the most expensive for me. We are talking $'s cpc worth not cents.

lol i can vouch for @yagami-iori i was paying like $3-$6 per click with zero conversions

I also hear a similar point for LinkedIn, Also LinkedIn offers free Premium for a month. Which is a good option to generate the leads.

It relies upon your specialty, however LinkedIn promotions stage has turned out to be the most costly for me. We are talking $'s cpc worth not pennies.

It depends upon the niche that you are working on and the target audience should be specified clearly. Comparing it with FB and Google, LinkedIn is expensive. If you target and budget in specified properly you will get good leads out of it. When you start Inmail for lead generation linkedin has certain format to be followed to create the ad content. That should be followed to get good traction and results.
