Linkedin groups vs. Facebook groups

It's common to see some linkedin groups with over 100k members, but the number of groups are small in a niche. There are overwhelming number of groups in any niche on Facebook, but the size of each group is usually small. Any reasons for this observation?

New report: the level of engagement in some Facebook groups is as good as the engagement in Linkedin groups. I also found many Facebook groups with 100k, or 50k mebers.

If you are focusing on B2B, you will find tons of good member on linked Groups. LinkedIn grps are completely professional as compared to facebook.
