What type of tactics/templates do you find most effective for lead generation/sales when posting on LinkedIn Groups?

I found great success for selling to high-end professionals by creating video mini-series on subjects the group constantly brings up. That and a bunch of fake connections got me some deals closed. Once they're in the funnel, continue to post and follow-up, answer questions and participate as usual. You'll be viewed as a thought leader or at least someone they can trust, depending on the size of the group.

Directly message people in your 2nd tier (is that what it's called?). Send them a non-spammy marketing email.

Not sure what you mean.. But don't linkedin have some kind of communicator where they can contact the other user as well?
Why need email?

Best way is directly approaching a connection by dropping email , sending private message or inviting him to your group

I found out great replies from FB groups. I mean you'll be astouned how many linkedin users are in FB groups specially in the professional niches. Might try that as well

PM and comments in groups. And i like the idea of video mini-series
