Linkedin for personal SEO?

How would you go about increasing your personal SEO? I need to find a real job lol.

Would buying sock-puppets, writing posts to establish them in industry and then having them endorse me for skills be a good idea?

Just trying to get some ideas of how to go about doing this...

For real job you don't need seo. You need resume, interview prep and contact recruiters via job portals. LinkedIn is for those who have a job to network.

Yes, you will show yourself as a professional. But it's a long story like on any social network.

This isn't really SEO though. It sounds like you just want to stand out among all the other candidates. Employers and interviewers will check your LinkedIn profile, but they will also check many other things (like evaluating your interview performance versus other candidates), so it's just one of many criteria. I wouldn't focus too much on optimizing a LinkedIn profile unless LinkedIn is the primary point where all the business or leads are coming through.

It's a good idea to promote yourself there as a creator. I'd focus though on other platforms like Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest which are more visual and you could promote the sock-puppets there through beautiful images.
