‎I've seen different opinions on LinkedIn connection requests. Some people send a personalized message with every request, while others use the default invitation and focus on volume.

personalized wins when the note proves you actually checked their profile. for broad prospecting, keep it one line: why them, not a pitch. generic is fine only when the fit is obvious and you’re doing volume.

Personalized.

It's time consuming, but we found it works best and better than generic ones.

For me manual outreach has worked the best as I also invite my potential prospects for a coffee, either online or in person so we can get to know each other better, and see if my services are a good fit for them.

From my experience, personalized requests win when you're connecting with decision makers or people in your niche. For broader networking, the default invite works fine.

I only personalize when I have a genuine reason to connect because it usually gets better conversations, not just better acceptance rates.

Personalized always wins. If you practice you can get good at scanning their profile in like 30 second to see what they'll want to hear from someone about, and make that the first sentence.
