Does anyone know what the limits are for activities on LinkedIn? I know that 100 connection request in a day raises a red flag so I keep it at 80 but I don't know what the limit for messages and commenting are.

Any help would be appreciated

As far as I know, there is no limit on the number of comments and conversations. However, there is a limit for using the search bar for certain activities. Searching for people directly (using their names), browsing through your 1st connections, and looking for jobs on job pages don’t count toward the limit. However, searching for profiles using keywords and filters is limited, as is using the People Also Viewed section. If you use them too much, LinkedIn will conclude that you’re using the platform for commercial use, like hiring or prospecting. Luckily, you'll get a warning as you approach the limit.

Thanks so much, also any insights in messaging?

I’m pretty sure you can send as many messages as you want to 1st connections. For 2nd and 3rd, you need to pay for InMail.

Do you think it is a problem when I search for realtors in my country using the search bar and connect to 50 per day? Would this trigger the limits?

No actually the limit is 100 a day but I leave am at 80

I can say with confidence that there are no limits as such. You can send at least 1000 connection requests per day and this will work. Sometimes it’s perhaps worth deleting unconfirmed requests, since without this new ones cannot be sent.

But there is one interesting point. Once a sufficient number of users note that they do not know you, you will have to indicate the email address of the user to whom you send the request for almost every new request. You need to be careful with this.
