LinkedIn Accounts hammered - what was the cause?

Well, I spend an afternoon hour creating one account for one project I own..

2 days later, 7 accounts got hammered.

Anyone got any ideas how to prevent that shit in future?

It's white hat stuff, so no shady "spamming IG with content lockers"...

Different IPs? Different Browsers? Different Names? Different [email protected] ?

Sth. must have cause that..

If they have a unique signature they'll identify you no matter how many VPNs or proxies you put between you and them.

I used like [email protected] and [email protected]

but sometimes ust [email protected] and [email protected]

those allso got hammered..

I suggest to use @yahoo.com or @gmail.com that is what normal people use when creating accounts.

I just wondered how many big sites utilize the OS system fingerprint? And how to know it?

I don't know but it's trivial to use. Even panopticlick uses a open source library I believe, so all you gotta do to take a signature from every visitor and you know if they are the same person. I've never used this but I might experiment with it for unique user count, without resorting to third party analytics.

K. Think it's time for blackhat activites. I got mail from support. They dont like having multiple accounts from one real person...... OMG.....

time to switch to another parasite...

Almost all of them. The question is not whether they collect browser fingerprints or not. The question is what data exactly they collect, in what way and how they analyze it. Most of the time, this can be only deducted based on the results of trial-and-error experiments.

Your are right, one person cannot have multiple accounts on the platform.
From what I know, they look for
1) everything related to the IP address
2) different browser fingerprints
3) e-mail domain as you pointed out
4) profile picture fingerprint - they analyze profile pictures in different accounts and put those with matching pictures under scrutiny. Pictures don't have to match exactly, it works similar to reverse image search but their algo is less advanced.
