Has anyone here used linkedin Sponsored posts?

I have a B2B client who could seriously benefit from them but my budget for promotion is rather small. I've been told that Linkedin can charge some pretty high amounts for clicks which, for me would make it not worth getting into.

I see that they have pay by the impression as well though and that might be worth it (with a branded graphic... it's the impression you're looking for anyway right?).

So has anyone used Linkedin Sponsored posts that could tell me anything about it? Especially what the price ranges are like? Impressions v clicks? Really anything?

It was a good experience with linkedin. I used their premium service and still using their sponsor post. If you want to create a valuable impression of your company, linkedin is the best place for it. But i don't think, it's a good idea if you are going to sale your products. Cause i tried to sale my wordpress themes with sponsored post. It was the worst experience. But i got 10% CTR.

I wouldn't recommend linkedin paid ads. It's lightyears behind facebooks technology and targeting features. Sure linkedin has a very B2B theme but 99% of people on linkedin are on facebook as well and the targeting options are better on facebook + the pricing structure is better (if you know how to work with it).

@ghackseo - I'm not too worried about the targeting. I was searching for people and if the filters are the same from searching for people as they are for targeting, they have all that I need. Specifically, I need to target a job title which facebook doesn't really do as well (unless there's something I don't know about. Highly likely.).

@jak19 - Looked at fiverr for what? I haven't but I'm not sure what your referring to. I would though.

Thanks for the responses everyone!!
