How effective are Link Wheels?

Do they really work?

For those who don't know what a link wheel is....here is the definition

-Link wheel refers to a series of links pointing towards the next link in the series and each of the links in turn pointing towards the Money site. Linkwheel is made of taking web 2.0 property and these web 2.0 properties are inter-connected through the contextual links.

Yes, it really effective if you also backlink web 2.0 properties with Scrapebox, AMR, and some others SEO tool.
 
Link Wheel Lost its effect now and google don't like interlinked Properties currently and they updated new method to index the Links and that's easy way which everyone can do.But no one knows whats that.But I am sure Link Wheels dont work Good Now a days.But Still Quality Links without interlinking works well.I tested this for many sites.
 
link wheel is very effective tool of SEO and good to increase the site pr and traffic.
web2.0backlinks (dot) c om is good for link wheel facility, as i like this one. if you know any other better site than that one, feel free to share.

Here is the definition of the link whell also ..
A group or "hub" of websites that link to one another in a circular fashion..

So google does not like linkwheels...but what about Yahoo and Bing?

Also...what about sites that are not Web 2.0?

In some ways, yes it is effective for keywords ranking. But you have to make sure that the sites that you're going to use in link wheel must be well optimized.

Linkwheel definitely works. But not all linkwheel works. There are different patterns you can use to create a linkwheel. Probably there are hundreds of patterns. But if you talk about simple linkwheel, it might not work.
 
Yes, it works, but you can also try and test a lot of other methods which are very effective, too.
 
well As i think linkwheel is not good you should work on the linkpyramid its good create web2.0 with linkpyramid types of links
 
A link wheel is actually a process of building a dozen new blogs or web pages using web 2.0 properties like Squidoo, Blogger, HubPages and etc., all on the same subject as your main blog or website. Then, on each of these mini-sites, you write one (or more) unique quality article contains a link to your main site or blog and a link to one of the other new blogs that you just built.
