link-wheeling My Web 2 properties? How Big is the footprint?

is anybody still link wheeling their web 2 properties? I see competitors doing it but i have not much experience with it.
Trying to maximize the juice out of my web2's but am curious as to how large of a footprint this leaves behind even if leaving the wheel open ended at the end. Worth it.. not worth it?

Definitely, it is a big footprint. Nowadays Google just devalues the link juice in short time action. After a certain time when rolling out a big update of penguin, the site must be penalized for poor or bad links. So it's definitely a worthless technique.
