Hey guys.
My site is about 1 month old and has about 100 Backlinks to it (actually it has like 250 but they arent indexed yet...)
So i was thinking about building a linkwheel using 8 different blogs, each one backed by 100 profile links, and linking back to my site.
Each blog would contain a 500 word unique article somewhat related to my niche, and with 2 anchor links in text to my site and one deep link.
a) What should i change about my plan
b) how much will it help me in terms oh SERP?

Exactly what I was thinking about doing! Except I'm not looking to do 100 profile links to each blog. I'll just create rss feeds of each blog and submit those rss feeds using an automated submit tool.
 
First thing is you should not close your linkwheel structure..
 
100 is too much, 20 is just enough. Moreover, try to keep that number random.
 
What about the interlinking structure?
Backlink them first
wait 1 week
then interlink them
wait one week
then link them to your moneysite over the course of 2 weeks?
 
I'd never build a linkwheel again... the search engines see that it is not a natural interlinking process and give you no long term benefit at all from it.
 
So, the link pushing method doesn't work anymore? I'm planning to implement a linkwheel network as well.


By the way, what those profiles surrounding each blog...are these forum profiles?

yea i was thinking about vbulletin or expression engine anchor text signatures... (link builder pro)

The Link Pushing Method works fine... the linkwheel method is one that will give you a short term burst and then drag your site down because it is considered an unnatural process.

For best results, you want Random Chaos.
 
The original linkwheels are ineffective now. If you want results you need to build random structure. Write original content, build nets over time, larger number of aricles on sites....

Have you thought about creating a pyramid structure versus a wheel? Take your money site and build below that using several blogs, then create more blogs and articles linking to those first set of blogs. Then you can pummel the 3rd layer with commenting and everything else.

Keys
1. Have a clean fresh money site.
2. First set of blogs should be unique and link out cleanly to your money site - try to update new posts when possible.
3. You can attack this layer. More blogs and articles that funnel to the second layer and these are blasted with profiles and commenting.

I've been seeing results. This is a pretty common practice. Always throw a mix up as well. You don't have to have it so structured. Make it more like a Jenga game, but all those pulled out pieces are still active some how.

robertpaultech there is no problem with 100 also. the more the better.
 
Yes I do a pyrmid as mentioned earlier...like this:

Money site (unique article)

1A - Suqidoo
1B - Hubpages
1C - Wordpress
1D - livejournal
1E - Weebly

I use the same article on all of them, and link them all to one page on my money site. Sometimes i spin the article to use on all 5, but I don't think that matters. The article on the money site is unique, though.

2A - Suqidoo
2B - Hubpages
2C - Wordpress
2D - livejournal
2E - Weebly

I link 2A to 1A, 1B, 1C
I link 2B to 1B, 1C, 1D
I link 2C to 1C , 1D, 1E

etc....but they do NOT link to the money site

Then I blast the 2nd tier (2a, 2b, 3c, etc) with profiles and blog comments
 
how good results do you get from that method? ever been slaped:D?
and how many mini nets do you use per site? just one?
