I m in the market to purchase few domains to start up with some style and fashion blogs. I was told by someone to get domain which are listed on DMOZ. I got no fuckin idea if that helps or its just a jazz. would like to know if those domains have some value over the general one's. If anyone has these domains please let me know

I am offered a bunch of dmoz listed sites by someone and they are gonna expire soon. He owns the domains and he quoted me a price of $$$ . These sites do not have much domain or Page authority. I'd like to know the value of these domains. I am planning to buy 10 such sites and redirect to my money site. Please let me know the advanted my money site will get from these links. is it worth spending $$$ for these links?

Have you checked the sites, are they in your niche, what are the PR of the sites ?
Being LISTED in Dmoz has some value, I don't know how much will transfer to your money site.
Not sure if people would be able to tell you without seeing the sites.
Make sure they are actually listed and in the correct categories.
Hopefully somebody more knowledgeable will come here and give you some advice.

It's so hard to get listed in dmoz, that search engines do place a ranking value on dmoz listed domains, its a sign of trust. It doesn't hurt link value at all, but how much you get of it is up for debate.

^This.. It's hard to determine because there's no market price for these sites.
