Link Typo Creates strong domain metrics

Just found a broken link on a major newspaper that points to www.www(thewebsitesname).com They put a www into the actual name of the website in two locations giving that name decent metrics.

I was considering registering it but was curious if it was maybe devalued since the algo's would realize that was a mistake?
