How do you shorten the link, do you use product name or main keyword?
so
<website>/product-name
or
<website>/main-keyword
?
My apologies if this has already being discussed. I couldn't find in the search results.

You don't use bitly because that's the last thing you will use. But ya, I have seen lot of short links with product name.

It really hardly matter how you name it because most of the time keyword names are already taken.

It's not something you have to worry about, just pick the shorten link name you want. Because It doesn't have any effect on the SEO aspect :), so just use any name you want on your shorten link
 
If I need to know something or follow any Black Hat POST? How to do this.
 
You can use bitly.com to shorten the url.

Thats a great insight. How about bitly being banned by every other social media and websites for being spam links. Have you ever thought about it?

Those methods using bitly at the beginning when he doesn't have a blog, hence he just put the bitly link directly to the Clickbank affiliate offer in order to measure the clicks

Yes, using bitly spamming on social media is not a good idea. I would like to suggest you create your own blog then install Google Analytics on your site, so you can track every traffic coming to your site with a complete report. So you will spam your blog link which has an affiliate offer on any social media.
 
I use the main keyword with shorten link.
I think that will generate some more valuable traffic to the link.
