Link shorteners - automating opening/viewing w/o end user knowing about it?

Idea from the kind of "blackhat" I remember people were thinking about years ago ..

Bundling a "program" with a legit exe, which w/o end users consent would open and view (confirm) links, which I in turn get paid for, .. Would I get banned right away? Would it require too much work on daily basis to have enough volumes to even bother building one ("program")?

Main question TBH - would it work w/o using a ton of proxies? They cost a lot in comparison to what I'd earn I guess?
