Link question

Guys .... simple question - let's say you bought expired domain with X amount of backlinks. How do you not loose them when you create or re-create the site in wordpress and lets say the site has 5000 backlinks. Any simple way of doing this? Also those of you who use SEMRUSH, MOZ and AHREFS - why is there such a huge difference between backlink numbers on AHREF and MOZ compared to SEMRUSH?

Disavow tool can help you get rid of past links. AHREF is considered more authentic as backlink checker, followed by MOZ. You should only consider the results offered by those two tools.

What if i want to keep these links. ?

As far as I know, you can keep those links by not changing the domain name.

You will keep the links automatically. The question then becomes, how good are the links and are they targeted towards your niches.

It's still super important to research the backlinks on ahrefs and Moz regardless, for a few important reasons:

• Disavow all spam and negative links (so you don't inherit the bad links)
• See what pages the old links are point to, and create those pages or 301 them to your target page (so you can correctly inherit good links)
