Link Pyramid or Link Wheel?

I would agree, definitely go with link pyramid. Word is link wheels don't work anymore. Their too unnatural in the search engines eyes
How do you know about this? If we can build good quality backlink. I think it's OK.

maybe G dont care our "quality BL" like human,,the robot just dont like wheel anyway

Well I make my living on linkwheels, and serve hundreds of websites a month and can pretty much say that post-panda the effect on linkwheels has been negligible. I have seen clients jump multiple pages after a strong linkwheel.
However, to spice it up, I create a level 1 linkwheel and add multiple levels of pyramids hitting the wheel. Works wonders!
Just have good content for your SEO; that's only what matters.

Just to add, post-panda adding multiple backlinks of the same kind might not reap the same results. So buying like 10 wheels works as much as 2 wheels would. Diversigy your source of backlinks as much as possible; throw in forum profiles, edu profiles, micro blog posts, doc sharing, links from a blog network and so on.

Well, the tier 1 properties still remain connected to one another, while in the case of a pyramid, it is only one way backlinks.

I would prefer a link pyramid over a link wheel. Link pyramid is proven to be effective ever since. With the Link Pyramid, you would need to create links for tier 1 and then create several links for tier 2. In a link wheel, a deleted link may lead to a broken link wheel. And broken links will definitely hurt your ranking in Search Engines. Also, whatever techniques you're using, make sure to produce high quality content, diversify your keywords and build links from different types of authority domains.
