It's easy for me, link locker for locking links to file downloads and content locker for locking web pages.

It really depends on what type of content you are delivering to your users. A link locker might be best for individual files, where a Content Locker would be great for an entire page of content that can be locked.

Hi thanks for this advice im looking into link lockers and contetn lockers im a complete newbie on this matter
Is there a place where i can get link lockers or content lockers for free just to try them? or do i have to create them on my own?
also i would like to know if i can insert any offer i want to be filled in order for the to get the information i have for them, per example, i m a Spanish marketer, my traffic is in spanish, can i insert Spanish offers for them to fill?

Depends on the content and which network.
Right now the best network for me with any sort of link or file locker is by a long shot CPA lead but they are also the most recent to push it out so theyve got a big one up with virus scans and slick landing pages.
For my content lockers I build my own lander and skin so its different.
In general if you focus on a specific piece of content then lock it with a content locker you will do better since you have a clear focus on it. Whereas the link or file lockers are good for a broad focus on your site or for just sharing as a straight up individual piece of content with friends.
Two very different approaches that require different promotional methods to get the best result.

Both methods can outperform each other. Here's one option that we recommend which will allow you to use both methods:
If you have a download or any reward being launched onclick from a link/button with the content locker then you can add a mirror link in with a link locker. So you can just place it as an alternate link and we've seen pretty good results with users favoring towards the style that fits them better.
So if you can't decide, try that method! Split testing is always good.

Increase conversion with this simple tip:
Password protect your file in a zip/rar archive and put a Read_me.txt file also containing information about how to get password.
Create a Password.txt fiel and upload it to the PPD network.
Grab file download link and put this link into the Read_me.txt.
Put a instant download link of the zip/rar file you created on your download page on your website.
This way the user who have downloaded your file will think he's just one step away from using the file he has downloaded.
