Hopefully someone will know about this because it's difficult to find any info about it.
I'm building guest post links and I'm trying to find a way to safely put a backlink from the 300 words excerpt of the guest post that will be on the homepage to my site. But the excerpts are normally noindex to prevent duplicate content problems.
Please does anyone know if it would work if I write a custom excerpt so it's not considered duplicate content and somehow set it to index and a ******** link?
That way I get 2 links on different pages with the bonus of being on the homepage for a good while.
