have been using pinterest as my tier1 link building just wana know if this type of link is good or quality enough for tier1

Is it ********? If so, yes. I wouldn't, though, point other links to the Pinterest link. Just be active on Pinterest, and your profile page (I assume the link you are talking about is the link you can have on your profile) will gain plenty of authority.

Well if that's ALL you're using for tier 1 then definitely no. It doesn't hurt to have SOME links as a part of your tier 1 profile but it's really not something I'd base my strategy around.

Although Pinterest is no follow, however you may acquire backlinks as the tier #1 from Pinterest. You mix between both do follow and no follow, so it will be seem as natural at Google.

What other link building practice you have adopted.

I hope you diluted your pinterest links with other link building strategy as well.

For tier 1 - I would prefer maximum contextual links.

Pinterest is good for tier 1, at least it will make your link profile looking naturally. As well you can use Flickr and Panoramio, you can get backlinks with anchor text from the last two while pinterest only naked URLs (Don't use anchor text frequently)
