link formula for PR3 in August 2014

Does anyone have any basic link formulas that are working for them to get a site to PR3?

For example: (not a real working formula)

1.) 10 blog links from PR 0 sites
2.) 10 social network links
3.) wait 30 days

What's working for you?

Why are you trying to get your site to PR3? The PR toolbar barely gets updated and most people are going with other metrics now.
 
there is no magic formula dude
you need different approaches with each one of them keywords or niches

i've been doing seo a long time and to just get a PR 3 i find that i can follow a formula, it doesn't matter what keyword or niche it is because PR3 is easy to get
 
When I was still paying attention to the pagerank of my sites like most bloggers and internet marketers are still doing today, I got a pagerank of 3 on one of my sites by commenting on around 20 pages with actual pagerank of 3 to 6.

The pages allowed followed comments and the comments were autoapprove. By the way, most of them have been spammed to death now.
 
I spammed for fun one of my sites, never got a penalty still ranking today got PR1 LOL
 
High PR Backlinks will increase PR on the next update. I would not do any PR0 PR 1 backlinks. No blog Comments either.
 
PR is something which isn't updated for a long time. Some people are saying that it might not even be updated in the near future.

You can use some other metrics such as DA and PA from Moz.

And TF and CF from Majestic.

How do you know is PR is something isn't update? Have you try it before?

PR on my domains has changed a lot and very frequently, not sure why you say PR hasn't been updated, and what do you mean by a long time?

Either one you are a shitty troll or two you have a faulty toolbar/pr checker. :)

nope, maybe i just have a bigger selection of web sites? i see sites go up and down all the time, but mostly the trend is downward. this is honest truth.
 
Dont waste time chasing pr as its never updated at a regular interval, and it may never be updated again. But usually, you would have to get links from a couple of pr4 pages with real pr to get a pr3.

if you don't get a high PR for your page then how will you out rank other high PR sites with quality onsite optimization and quality trusted links? example: all 10 listings for your keyword in google are PR 6 or 7 and your site is pr 2, how can you hope to ever rank for that if your pr stays 2?

dude, it seems you just woke up from a long time. kidding me right ?
if a site ranked because quality link / onsite optimized, no wonder. pagerank doesn't matter nowadays but DA/PA/TF.
i saw couple sites ranked for hard competitive keyword with less pagerank against competitors.
 
Ask google... And of course the big G won't tell you..
Do not only focus on PR. Consider PA/DA of Moz.
 
If your focus is based on PR, you are doing the wrong thing.
